Starter gear,”9″ teeth for mini. 10 tooth is wrong for mini and was early Metro. There is no need to replace the whole starter if you’ve merely damaged the bendix gear! You can replace the gear with a little persistence and ingenuity. The internal sliding gear is no longer provided with this part, but does not usually wear – only the outer 9 teeth cog gear gets damaged and worn.
